Lachlan Pfeiffer Appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary

Firmus Technologies today announced Lachlan Pfeiffer has been appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary, strengthening the company’s executive leadership capability as it continues to grow its AI infrastructure operations across Australia and Asia-Pacific.

Lachlan starts with Firmus on 10 August 2026. He brings extensive legal, governance, regulatory and commercial experience, including senior leadership roles at Viva Energy Australia. Lachlan has a strong track record on delivering significant infrastructure, energy and corporate transactions, and advising executive and board leadership teams on complex commercial and risk management matters. His background also spans corporate strategy, business development, investor relations, sustainability, M&A, capital markets and government relations, giving him broad experience across governance, risk and strategic growth.

Ben Webb, who currently serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary, will remain with Firmus until the end of the 2026 calendar year to support a structured transition and ensure continuity across the business, with Lachlan assuming the role from 10 August 2026.

Firmus said the transition had been designed to provide a comprehensive handover and maintain continuity across its legal, governance and company secretary functions.
