The Tailem Bend AI Factory project is a proposed 1.2 GW artificial intelligence (AI) Factory consisting of eight AI data hall buildings, an office, maintenance workshop and supporting infrastructure, owned and operated by Firmus. It’s a modular infrastructure platform designed to run high-density AI.
The project will increase Australia’s capacity to run AI technology locally, rather than relying on computing infrastructure overseas.
