Firmus CTO Dr. Daniel Kearney has been appointed to the ASME Board of Governors, recognising his global leadership in sustainable AI and engineering innovation.

Singapore, June 25, 2025 — Firmus Technologies is proud to announce that Chief Technology Officer Dr. Daniel Kearney has been elected to the Board of Governors of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This prestigious appointment reflects Dr. Kearney’s ongoing leadership in sustainable AI infrastructure and advanced thermal management for high-performance computing.
Founded in 1880, ASME is one of the world’s most influential engineering organizations, setting globally adopted standards and driving collaboration across the mechanical engineering discipline. Its Board of Governors is responsible for the strategic vision and global impact of the Society’s programs, policies, and initiatives.
Dr. Kearney brings to the Board over 15 years of international experience in research, innovation, and real-world implementation of high-efficiency systems—from his academic work in experimental fluid mechanics to his current role driving the development of Firmus’s AI-energy platform.
