Role Summary 

The GM of FP&A will lead all financial planning, forecasting, and performance analytics for a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure business. This role is central to shaping the company’s financial narrative, supporting capital allocation decisions, and enabling datadriven growth. The GM of FP&A will partner closely with the CFO, CEO, and executive team to deliver investorgrade insights, robust financial models, and forwardlooking analysis aligned with the demands of highgrowth AI infrastructure markets. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Planning & Forecasting 

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and multiyear financial planning across Asian and Australian operations.   

Performance Management 

  • Partner with business units to monitor performance against plan and identify risks, opportunities, and optimisation levers. 
  • Deliver executiveready and boardready reporting packs with clear insights, KPIs, variance analysis, and forwardlooking commentary. 
  • Establish and maintain a driverbased planning framework reflecting key metrics (Operating, contracted and ROFR capacity, contracted GPUs, WACD, RCV, construction cost per MW, power costs etc.). 
  • Benchmark performance against global AI infrastructure peers, hyperscalers, and sector trends. 

Systems, Data & Reporting Infrastructure 

  • Lead the review, implementation and optimisation of FP&A systems, planning tools, and BI platforms as required.
  • Drive automation of reporting, dashboards, and data pipelines to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability. 
  • Champion data quality, standardisation, and integration across finance, operations, and engineering systems. 

Commercial & Strategic Insight 

  • Provide commercial analysis to support pricing strategy, customer economics, longterm contracts, and new product offerings.
  • Support cost optimisation initiatives across energy, procurement, and operational efficiency. 

Leadership & Business Partnering 

  • Build, lead, and develop a highperforming FP&A team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and executive team, embedding financial discipline and strategic insight across the organisation. 
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 

Governance, Controls & Capital Markets Readiness 

  • Establish FP&A governance frameworks, planning calendars, and reporting standards. 
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data and models. 
  • Support due diligence, investor reporting, and capital markets activity with robust analysis and documentation. 
  • Partner with CFO on liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and capital allocation. 

 

Skills & Experience  

  • CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent qualification. 
  • 10+ years’ experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy within highgrowth or capitalintensive environments. 
  • Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning capability. 
  • Experience presenting to executives, and boards.
  • Ability to operate in a fastpaced, founderled, highgrowth environment.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills. 
  • Experience in AI infrastructure, data centres, cloud, semiconductors, or technology infrastructure. 
  • Exposure to multientity, international operations and multicurrency reporting.
  • Familiarity with energy markets, hardware procurement cycles, or largescale capex planning.
